A Byzantine Inspired Bag
I've been doing a lot of bags, lately. That's par for the course; the Barony in which I reside often gets a group together to both construct and embroider/embellish bags as a largess effort.
This particular bag is destined for Pennsic War where it will be given to the Crown for my birth Kingdom of Artemisia.
Embroidery was done in perl cotton on wool applique. The motif was further embellished with pearls and beads. The triskeles and wrapped wire items were made by yours truly.
